This is our TOP experience for anyone who is curious about becoming a helicopter pilot. If you’re looking for a flying lesson that gives a real insight into the life of a helicopter pilot and what kind of careers are possible, this is the perfect experience for to get you there. Even better, at the price of just £148, you won’t find this voucher cheaper anywhere else!

Available at 9 UK flying schools, including options in Scotland and Wales, this experience takes around 3.5 hours (with 15 minutes in the air) and is designed to give you the best start in your helicopter pilot training. You’ll enjoy a tour of the aircraft and airfield as well as a presentation on helicopter pilot career options – if you weren’t thinking of training as a pilot before, you might well reconsider when you hear about the exciting career routes that are possible.

Also included is a 15 minute hands-on flying lesson. You’ll climb aboard a 2-seat helicopter alongside a CAA certified flying instructor who will be eager to show you the ropes. Learn the basics of flight control and – if you’re feeling confident – have a go at the Hover Challenge. This is one of the most difficult manoeuvres in a helicopter pilot’s arsenal, but if you pull it off it’s really quite something!

This experience is suitable as a gift for anyone with an interest in flight, but will be especially ideal for those who are serious about learning to fly.
