This thrilling flying experience will start with a safety briefing from your qualified instructor. This leads on to going through the controls of the Robinson R44 that you’ll be flying, following which your instructor will take you up to the skies and then hand over control to you!

Not only will you get a great hands on experience, but because the R44 is a four seater helicopter you can also bring along a guest to go up with you. Do you have a friend who is excited by the idea of flight and brave enough to let you be their pilot? You’ll both have a great time – don’t forget a camera to record the special moment!

The airport at Staverton is fantastic hub for aviation, with the nearby M5 providing access to flying facilities within easy reach of the Midlands, Wales and the South West of England. Originally opened as an RAF base in 1931, the airfield is now home to numerous flying clubs offering experiences in a range of aircraft - and with £6 million to be invested over the next 10 years, it looks set to go from strength to strength.
