Based at Chichester Airport, just to the south of the Goodwood estate and the gorgeous South Downs National Park, there’s no doubt this flying experience is going to give you some views to remember!

Better yet, you’ll learn a lot about actual flying, too. Your qualified pilot will give you a safety briefing and some training regarding the controls of the Robinson R22 helicopter. He’ll then take you up into the air, whereupon he will hand the controls to you for an hour of putting that knowledge into practice! It’s a great thrill for anyone, but ideal for somebody thinking of pursuing a helicopter Pilots Licence.

Located a few miles outside Chichester, the airfield formerly known as RAF Westhampnett is now a large and well-equipped aviation hub. Goodwood is well respected as one of the best flight-training facilities on the South Coast, and offers a range of lessons in planes and helicopters, as well as exciting aerobatics thrill-flights and incredible views out over the Solent.
