Taking place at the Goodwood Aerodrome in West Sussex, this thirty minute taster flying experieince is perfect for anyone keen to explore the idea of learning to fly. It’s also a temptingly affordable gift for the daredevil in your life!

The session will begin with a detailed safety briefing from your qualified pilot instructor, who will then proceed to get you up to speed with the controls of the Robinson R22 helicopter you’ll be flying. Then you’ll both strap in and your instructor will perform the take off, launching you into the skies. Once you’ve reached a safe height, he will then allow you to take the controls to put into practice some of the things you’ve learned!

Located a few miles outside Chichester, the airfield formerly known as RAF Westhampnett is now a large and well-equipped aviation hub. Goodwood is well respected as one of the best flight-training facilities on the South Coast, and offers a range of lessons in planes and helicopters, as well as exciting aerobatics thrill-flights and incredible views out over the Solent.
