Conveniently located for the M4 between Gloucester and Cheltenham, this flight school offers the perfect opportunity for anybody keen on learning to fly and looking for an affordable flying experience.

You’ll start the day with a safety briefing, before climbing into the Robinson R22 helicopter alongside your instructor. He’ll give you a thorough grounding in the controls before you both strap in and he performs the vertical takeoff. Once safely aloft that knowledge of the controls will be put into practice as you get to take over and handle the copter yourself for a totally unforgettable experience!

The airport at Staverton is fantastic hub for aviation, with the nearby M5 providing access to flying facilities within easy reach of the Midlands, Wales and the South West of England. Originally opened as an RAF base in 1931, the airfield is now home to numerous flying clubs offering experiences in a range of aircraft - and with £6 million to be invested over the next 10 years, it looks set to go from strength to strength.
