If you’re looking for an experience day to help you decide whether to pursue a Private Pilots Licence, or simply seeking a fantastic gift experience for a friend or family member, this is the package for you!

You’ll be met by a qualified instructor at Ince Blundell Airfield, who will take you through safety procedures, microlight controls, and the techniques of flight. Then he’ll take you up for twenty to thirty minutes of thrilling flight, with views out over Morecambe bay and the Mersey estuary – the Isle of Man and the edge of the Lake District will be in view on a clear day!

If conditions are suitable you may even be allowed to take control of the microlight yourself for a few minutes, then once back on the ground you’ll complete the post-flight checks and received a commemorative certificate of your experience.

Once known as RAF Speke, Liverpool's busy international airport was renamed for the Beatle in 2001. It is now a favourite flying hub for both commercial and private aviators, with lessons and experience vouchers available nearby in each of the general aviation big three - Planes, Helicopters and Microlights.
